Puss Cat, Pussy Cat, where have you been……..WOYWW (#111)

I’ve been up to London to visit the Queen.
That’s exactly where I am as you read this because today myself and my cousin Jane are up in London playing at being tourists and we have tickets to tour the Buckingham Palace state rooms and see at close quarters Kate’s wedding dress and the Queens collection of Faberge eggs. We are also going to the Queens gallery where there’s an exerbition of the Dutch painters and then on to see the Royal Mews, so we have a full day ahead of us.

Now, I have a rather lovely WOYWW to share with you this week because my desk is covered with all the goodies that were in the amazing blog candy that I was lucky enough to win when Brenda was celebrating her 500th post on her blog.

Thanks so much Brenda, you’ve been so generous and I can’t wait to get started with those new sets of stamps and all the other goodies too!

Also on my desk but a little earlier in the week was another exploding box.

This one was made as a gift box for a bracelet that I made as a birthday present so it was quite a bit smaller than the others that I’ve made.

Julia is hosting our blog hop as usual so don’t forget to stop by her blog over at The Stamping Ground and join in the fun, but be warned, it’s very addictive!

Thanks for stopping by and until we meet again……….
Happy Crafting!

How silly am I feeling.
I only went and posted this on Tuesday, thinking it was Wednesday and was wondering what had happened to Julia when there was no post from her to add my link too.....now I know why, Lol!
All I can do is put it down to excitement about my day out and I can at least tell you now that Kate's wedding dress is absolutely amazing, as is the cake. Well worth a visit if you get a chance this summer.

Sounds like you had a great day out Sue, bet the dress is amazing in person. So glad you like all the goodies, hope they'll come in handy! Lovely little box and bracelet too. I was reading all your family history posts the other day as I'm in to that too and also on GR. I don't have many photos though, sadly!

Lol at you posting on Tuesday instead of Wednesday!!! In my world that's called Brainfog...

I shall be uploading my WOYWW soon - been having major broadband probs and trying to sort them out. I LOVE your explosion boxes! That one with the beautiful bracelet... Just gorgous! I'm really looking forward to exploring your blogs - you are a lady of talent!

I'm envious of you going up to the Palace, and esp. seeing the Faberge eggs... Love those! Also seeing Kate's dress - what a treat! (Shoshi turns a luminous shade of green...)

Tee Hee .... what an amazing day you must have had though ...you are forgiven lol ...how lucky were you to see the dress.
That is again, a beautiful box.
Thanks for the visit ...I was out and am just catching up.
That was iteresting about the Acker Bilk connection ....when Pete was at school he played in a Jazz band and for some reason he met Acker and his band and was very proud of his autograph and the words 'Keep Blowing' on the back of a photo of the school-boy band....I still have it ....somewhere.

Great posts this week - I've read the next one too. The cake is amazing - there's no way of telling what the base is, fruit cake, plain, etc., ... I heard that William requested chocolate - did he get it I wonder. Your boxes are terrific and that bracelet is lovely. Elizabeth x #59
