Yes, I'm just back from sunny Spain after a
wonderfully relaxing week in Moraira and I’m here to share my desk with you and
what a stark contrast it is to the ‘desk’ I was working at last week.
This is the photo taken last Wednesday.
And here’s my desk at home this morning………..not much difference, err?
So as you can see, last week I was sat by the pool, a large glass of Pimms to hand, and cross stitching with that beautiful view over the valley to the coast of Moraira with temps of around 26 to 28 degrees to deal with and this week I have an enormous pile of ironing to tackle.
C'est La vie.................a small price to pay for the wonderful week I spent with my very good friends Susan & Edd, my two Goddaughters, Kelly & Nichola and 'Pip'. (Nichola is expecting)
There are still seems to be a lot of beautiful ATC arriving on peoples desks for the WOYWW Anniversary, so I’m off to The Stamping Ground to do a spot of desk hopping and then I don’t think I can put off the ironing for much longer.
See you later and …………
Happy Crafting!

Ah Sue, life is cruel indeed! Still, a small price to pay for that lovely week, Yeah, Nichola is definitely expecting lol, she looks about ready to give birth! Have a great week, once the ironing is out of the way.

It seems you had a suer holiday relaxing in the sun and I'm so pleased for you. Luckily for us the temps were about that for us in Germany and we had a super visit. It rained there the day after we came home!
I'm staying put now until DD2 has her baby in Sept. I'm going to start the quilt soon using your fabulous monkey panels! Can't wait!

Oh it's beautiful..even the light is warm! Pimms and sun and stitching..a bit heavenly1 Glad you enjoyed the break, expect it was much needed. So good luck with the ironing. Luckily, there is just no room to put ours onmy desk!!
It's sad to think you have to leave a place that beautiful and come home sometimes. Gosh the place looks so warm and relaxing too. Ironing, just shove it in the corner chuck a towel over the top and pretend it isn't there, then go and play with paper and inks. That sounds heaps better right?
Belated WOYWW greetings

What a lovely spot you found, Sue and
look at that view and blue sky, Mmmmm I'm dreaming of summer.
Glad you had a lovely time.
Hugs Lisax
Thanks Sue, look forward to some more cards but in your own time.... no rush. I'll be starting making your panels into a special quilt very soon too. It's been wonderful travelling so much but it's good to get back to normality. Tying up a few loose ends then I'm stitching.
Have a great party with your family,
jo x
