Clear Desk Policy - WOYWW #201
Well what a week I’ve had……..No Crafting and that Llindt Chocolate Bunny is ‘still’ sitting on the side, intact and waiting to be munched upon.
Can’t tell you how hard it’s been to stop myself biting off an ear, but I know it wouldn’t do my any good at the moment because the chest infection really took hold, so I’ve had to be good. Even the antibiotics that I’ve been on don’t seem to have shifted it much and I really don’t like this feeling of shortness of breath. Hopefully a change in the weather (they promise 70 degrees in the next couple of days) will have me feeling better and more in the mood for crafting.
What I have done though is spent lots of time on my stitching and you can see my progress over at I’d Rather Be Stitchin’.
In fact it’s that you can see at the back of my desk today because I was taking a photo of it for my monthly TUSAL (don’t know what a TUSAL is…..all will be explained if you follow the link above)
Apart from that my desk is almost clear except for my scales and some bubble wrap I was using to pack up some of the things I sold on ebay last week. Thanks if you were amongst the people who followed my link last week and bid on anything. If you did I hope you were one of the lucky ones because there were some great bargains to be had. I have to say I was very pleased indeed as I listed around 70 items and sold all but 10 of them.
OK, I really need to get down and make a 60th birthday card now which needs to be in the post tomorrow, so please forgive me if I don’t get around to desk hopping until tomorrow, but needs must as they say.
To join in with WOYWW and to find out what it’s all about if you’ve never heard about it, can I suggest that you go visit The Stamping Ground. where Julia has all the details and keeps us all in check each week.
See’s you all later.
Happy Crafting!
Sue

Oh Sue I'm so sorry to hear you still feeling rough. I really do hope a bit warmer weather helps you with a speedy recovery soon.
Well done you with all the ebay selling.
Hugs,

I have just had a look at your stitching ...your April piece is so cute ...but your long term piece is stunning ....so much work ...but it will be so worth it ...I love the texture created by tones.xx71

Sorry to hear you are still feeling under the weather, Sue. Chest infections can take a lot of shifting. Don't worry I still have a Lindt Reindeer from christmas. He just looks too cute to eat.
No WOYWW from me this week due to the Easter Hols but just wanted to pop by to say hello.
Hugs Lisax
Well Sue at least you are all ready to get on with your card!! I do hope you feel better soon, its very wearing when you aren't breathing properly. Best wishes, Cindy #63
Blimey Sue, you really have had a dose, haven't you? Lets hope the antibiotics kick in and sort you out.
Hugs, LLJ 35 xxxx

Hope you'll be feeling better soon. I had the same bug and it took weeks to shift...thought I was going to have it for life! Happy (belated) WOYWW. Pam#23
Hi Sue, what a beautiful job you are doing on your stitching project! Your desk is looking awfully organized! What my dreams are made of! Hope you get your card done. Hugs Cathryn #146
I hope you feel better very soon! It's been a tough winter for colds, etc!!!! Congrats on the eBay selling. I need to do that too, and clear up my room of things I know I won't use. It's so time consuming though!
Happy Crafting!

Hello Sue, I hope you got the birthday card made and posted. Your desk looks like mine was yesterday too - there's more action going on it today :) Your stitching is gorgeous. Hope the infection improves so you can have a nibble of that chocolate bunny. Have a great week, Elizabeth x #40
Your stitching is beautiful. Well done - it does take a long time though, doesn't it? I've just finished a SMALL birth sampler for a friend - Winnie the Pooh and a honey jar - and it took for ever 'cos I couldn't see the holes!!!! Must be my age....
Well done for the lovely things you tackle.

Now that is one very tidy desk Sue! Hope you're feeling a bit better now.
