<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">

<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">
<span style="color: #663300; font-family: "Bradley Hand ITC"; font-size: 16pt;">I just wanted to pop in on this wet and very windy New Year’s Day
and wish Julia, over at the <a href="http://stamping-ground.blogspot.com/"><strong> The Stamping Ground </strong></a> </span><span style="color: #663300; font-family: "Bradley Hand ITC"; font-size: 16pt; mso-ansi-language: EN;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span><b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;"><span style="color: #663300; font-family: "Bradley Hand ITC"; font-size: 16pt;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">
</span></span></b><span style="color: #663300; font-family: "Bradley Hand ITC"; font-size: 16pt;">and <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>all my friends who
congregate there for What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday, a very Happy New Year.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">
<span style="color: #663300; font-family: "Bradley Hand ITC"; font-size: 16pt;">I have to say, I’m glad to see the back of the old one because
due to a few health issues it wasn’t that good.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">
</span>It culminated in me giving up card making and finishing up my self-employed
business and that’s the reason that my usually messy work desk that you’re used
to seeing now looks like this.</span></div>
<span style="color: #663300; font-family: "Bradley Hand ITC"; font-size: 16pt;"><o:p></o:p></span><br />

of the drawers that were on the table and the two spice racks that were full of
brads and buttons have long gone.<o:p></o:p></span><br />
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">
<span style="color: #663300; font-family: "Bradley Hand ITC"; font-size: 16pt;">I still intend to get back to scrapping the heritage album at some point, as far as cards go, it's being restricted to the ones for the <a href="http://lillyboquilts.blogspot.co.uk/"><strong> LillyBo Quilt Project</strong></a>.

<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">
<span style="color: #663300; font-family: "Bradley Hand ITC"; font-size: 16pt;">Next I finished off the Advent wall hanging that I started in
2012. All the cross stitch was done but I wasn’t brave enough to make the quilted backing for all the little
pillows to hang from.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span><br />
<span style="color: #663300; font-family: "Bradley Hand ITC"; font-size: 16pt;">Anyway, I finally
took the bull by the horns and finished it off and although it wasn’t perfect,
Haven House Children’s Hospice were more than happy with it when I gave it to
them.</span></div>

<span style="color: #663300; font-family: "Bradley Hand ITC"; font-size: 16pt;"></span><br />
<span style="color: #663300; font-family: "Bradley Hand ITC"; font-size: 16pt;">Getting
on for three weeks ago, my poor 81 year old neighbour ( and BoJangles sitter) Pat, tripped in her bedroom and
managed to fracture her hip and her shoulder, resulting in a partial hip
replacement, and since then <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">myself and another of her friends have been back and forward to the hospital visiting because her two sons can't manage to visit until the weekends. I would hate to think of her sitting there all week with no visitors.</span></span><br />
<span style="color: #663300; font-family: "Bradley Hand ITC"; font-size: 16pt;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">Anyway, </span></span><span style="color: #663300; font-family: "Bradley Hand ITC"; font-size: 16pt;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">I'm pleased to say she's well on the mend and as </span>of last Thursday she was supposed to be coming home...........then she wasn't.........then she was........then she wasn't again</span><span style="color: #663300; font-family: "Bradley Hand ITC"; font-size: 16pt;">, but not because she’s not ok. It's all because they can’t sort out a
care package for her….….apparently the London and Essex health authorities don’t
communicate with each other.....it's so frustrating.<o:p></o:p></span><br />
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">
<span style="color: #663300; font-family: "Bradley Hand ITC"; font-size: 16pt;"><o:p> </o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">
<span style="color: #663300; font-family: "Bradley Hand ITC"; font-size: 16pt;">So with all that going on time for crafting has had to be snatched
here and there when I’ve had half hour to spare and up until now there’s been
nothing much to share with you, which is why I've not visited <span lang="EN" style="color: #663300; font-family: "Bradley Hand ITC"; font-size: 16pt; mso-ansi-language: EN;">The Stamping Ground for <a href="http://stamping-ground.blogspot.com/"> <strong>What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday</strong></a> <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> f</span></span><span style="color: #663300; font-family: "Bradley Hand ITC"; font-size: 16pt;">or a
while.<o:p></o:p></span><br />
<span style="color: black; font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;">
</span></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">
<span style="color: #663300; font-family: "Bradley Hand ITC"; font-size: 16pt;">But grabbing a little crafting time here and there can prove
productive in the end and on my desk this week is the fruits of my labours….....….more
cards for the <a href="http://lillyboquilts.blogspot.co.uk/"><strong> LillyBo Quilt Project</strong></a><strong> .</strong> </span></div>

<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">
<span style="color: #663300; font-family: "Bradley Hand ITC"; font-size: 16pt;">There are 33 this time round, bringing my grand total up to 101
cards in all and I think we are up to quilt 59 on the blog, which is just
amazing, <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>so there should be enough cards to
keep us going for a little while longer.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<span lang="EN" style="color: #663300; font-family: "Bradley Hand ITC"; font-size: 16pt; mso-ansi-language: EN;">This week my desk is all about cross stitch

visited me last week and didn’t receive a return call from me.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><o:p></o:p></span></div>

things just seemed to get in the way of computer time and I failed miserably,

I go to this week and I hope they forgive me.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

All that anticipation over the 4th Anniversary celebrations for <a href="http://stamping-ground.blogspot.com/"><strong>What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday</strong>,</a> and can you believe that it all over. It flew by in a flash but didn't we managed to celebrate it in style. An ATC swap and then there was a crop that some managed to get to, and good time was had by all I understand.<br />
<br />
Unfortunately I couldn’t make it to the crop, but I made myself a promise that seeing as it was a special week I would visit each and every person that linked, mentioning WOYWW’s 4th Anniversary……… all 182 of you........mind you, there were a few duplicates in there because some peps forgot their *, but it was still a lot.<br />
There were a couple of blogs that wouldn’t let me comment on for some reason, so if that was you I apologise, but for everyone else that mentioned the Anniversary I left a comment and they weren’t completely copy and paste messages either, I also added a personal line or two and it took my until Sunday afternoon to get round everyone. <br />
<br />
I also had a record number of comments left for me too, 70 at last look so if you were one of those people, thank you so much, I appreciate it.<br />
<br />
<br />
So, here we go with the start of a new year of desk hopping and looking forward to the 5th anniversary, and here’s the photo of my very first desk of the year.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0W4UCN6KqQVY88NCovcr7rn5Iyp0E7JfCDMSpbgMUp2V34HgjMYcmvuKy8yiLOeZcV9hi3FXiDMuEJKwJmfFOD0_ibzqZLDZhw7TjBbZv1nTKf7ro4jCnmItLVvXYKt1NsJVB-y-ohjqw/s1600/002web.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0W4UCN6KqQVY88NCovcr7rn5Iyp0E7JfCDMSpbgMUp2V34HgjMYcmvuKy8yiLOeZcV9hi3FXiDMuEJKwJmfFOD0_ibzqZLDZhw7TjBbZv1nTKf7ro4jCnmItLVvXYKt1NsJVB-y-ohjqw/s640/002web.jpg" width="640" yya="true" /></a></div>
<br />
Now, you’ll see as soon as you look at the picture that’s it’s been staged, but as soon as I had set it up I realised it was floored.<br />
<br />
On the Left hand side of the table I had put my passport, sun cream, the battery from the camera charging and the camera itself, a hint that I’m going on my holidays on Friday. Then on the other side I laid out all the ATC,s that I’ve received so far. <br />
<br />
So now I go to take the picture and yes, you’ve guessed it, the camera is on the table and the battery in the charger…….what am I like! Take two…same set up minus the camera.<br />
<br />
And here’s some close-ups of the beautiful ATC’s that have arrived so far.<br />

<br />
Thank you ladies, they are all beautiful and each and every one of them is a little masterpiece in its own right.<br />
<br />
<br />
There was also more than one comment regarding what exactly was in the packet and envelopes on my table last week. I think it’s fine to show you now.<br />
<br />
The envelopes of course contained the ATC’s that I was sending out and I decided to stick with something I know and cross stitched a little mini sampler.<br />
<br />

I made twelve of these, all hand stitched which is why I had to start making them early.<br />
<br />
The parcel was also a cross stitch that I stitched as a Thank You to <strong><a href="http://www.blogger.com/Lunch%20Lady%20Jan's%20Fabric%20Frenzy"> Jan</a></strong> for making me the wonderful Knitting Needle roll a couple of months back.<br />
<br />
<br />
The kit is called Bad Hare Day and as soon as I saw it I just knew I had to stitch it for Jan, seeing as she has a liking for Hares.<br />

So that’s it for this week. As I said I’m away next week and won’t be able to join in because I don’t have an iPad and I’ve no idea how to do it on my phone yet. Just imagine me sitting by the pool in Spain, doing my cross stitch and that will be my workspace for the week. There might also be a large glass of Sangria close by!!<br />
<br />
I'll try and visit a few desks before I go but if I don't manage it I'll see you all when I get back.<br />
<br />
Happy Crafting!<br />

Well, It’s finally week # 208 and the party for What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday’s 4th….yes, I said 4th birthday, can you believe that, is in full swing over at the <a href="http://stamping-ground.blogspot.com/"><strong>The Stamping Ground,</strong></a> so why not call in and see Julia to see what a phenomenon she created back in 2009.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I can’t claim to have been here right from the start but almost. <br />
It had been going three months when I first came across it and once you start playing along it’s hard to stop, as we all know. <br />
<br />
<br />
<strong><a href="http://sueskraftykards.blogspot.co.uk/2009/08/whats-on-you-workdesk-wednesday.html">Here’s a link to that very first post.</a></strong><br />
<br />
To celebrate our second birthday I came up with a little ditty, so I thought I would resurrect it again to celebrate our 4th. Naturally I altered a word or two, so here you go ………….. <br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<em><span style="color: #bf9000;">Now the party is in full swing and Workdesk Wednesday’s here,</span></em></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<em><span style="color: #bf9000;">The day we share the projects that we make throughout the year.</span></em></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<em><span style="color: #bf9000;">But this week’s very special, we've reached a mile stone,</span></em></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<em><span style="color: #bf9000;">Four years of sharing work desks, starting out at Julia’s home.</span></em></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<em><span style="color: #bf9000;">So to mark this great occasion, a gift I send to you,</span></em></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<em><span style="color: #bf9000;">But you must Pay It Forward before you get back to your glue.</span></em></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<em><span style="color: #bf9000;">Back to the paper, stamps and paints that we all hold so very dear,</span></em></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<em><span style="color: #bf9000;">And wait in anticipation as we look forward to another year.</span></em></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<em><span style="color: #bf9000;">Happy What’s on your Workdesk Wednesday!</span></em></div>

<br />
The picture of my table shows a little pile of ATC’s that will go in the post this morning, together with a couple of parcels, one of which is a long time in coming, sorry Jan, but you’ll see why it’s been as long as it has when it arrives and I hope it’s worth waiting for.<br />

<br />
<br />
I've already recieved beautiful ASTC's from Annie, Jo and JoZart, thank you ladies, but I'll show them to you next week.<br />
<br />
I'll keep it short and sweet this week as there’s lots of people to visit today……..I’m going to try and get round everyone for once……….. so get that kettle no and I’ll be seeing you later.<br />
<br />
Thanks once again to Julia for creating such a place to hang out on Wednesdays. <br />
I’ve made some wonderful friends along the way and can only hope that WOYWW lives on for many years to come.<br />

Well it’s almost 8pm and I’ve just realized that it’s Wednesday and that I’ve very nearly missed <strong><a href="http://stamping-ground.blogspot.com/"> What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday</a></strong> again…………what am I like!<br />
<br />
I’ve been out with my friend today visiting a couple of nurseries and then when we got back I went out and planted all the bit’s I’d brought. <br />
<br />
I had my tea and then decided to do a bit of surfing, but even when I noticed that Annie had already done a WOYWW, I was thinking to myself that perhaps she wouldn't be around tomorrow and done it a day early.<br />
<br />
So my desk is no fit state at all, as you can see. No crafting, just the aftermath of ebay selling.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBTLOLzchOycd9WF27qzdyWsTfVKu3SYkXvxR3fkbWxhfGAUwgIj-hq3KPrGt7A7OJBX5xVwMKpLSKVqf2DC_-qfASViUA-8uVEzi7OjgeSYJ-YC6GFA63HRgxHV14IXf1P264SGQcxuNn/s1600/001.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBTLOLzchOycd9WF27qzdyWsTfVKu3SYkXvxR3fkbWxhfGAUwgIj-hq3KPrGt7A7OJBX5xVwMKpLSKVqf2DC_-qfASViUA-8uVEzi7OjgeSYJ-YC6GFA63HRgxHV14IXf1P264SGQcxuNn/s640/001.jpg" width="640" ya="true" /></a></div>
I promise I’ll be here on time next week……………..I’ve set a reminder on my phone just in case and it’s written on every calendar in the house, so I’ve no excuse.<br />
<br />
Now if you said you wanted to swap an ATC with me, don’t forget to let me have your address. A couple are already in the post but there’s still a few to send out, so please can you <strong><a href="mailto:s.hyde7@ntlworld.com">Email me here </a></strong> if you want to swap.<br />
<br />
I’ll be round tomorrow to see what everyone’s up to this week.<br />

Well, it’s Wednesday again and only two weeks to go until the big 4th Birthday celebrations of What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday, over at <strong><a href="http://stamping-ground.blogspot.com/"> The Stamping Ground.</a> </strong><br />
<br />
I’ve already received my first ATC from the lovely <strong><a href="http://jozartdesigns.blogspot.co.uk/">Jo (Jozart),</a></strong> with strict instructions that it’s not to be opened until the 29th, so it’s sitting here waiting but the anticipation of what’s inside is almost too much to bare. <br />
You see, it arrived in a package along with this beautiful hand dyed Habotai Silk scarf and pen which were gifts to say thank you for making the cards for the LillyBo Quilt project.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEggFwnoBzE8KrE3An-yi5py0G1lNXeY2h_fwQ-WZy8MTN0HI8OCtXWVEzny_nKrVgT2wGmp1gf4QH1Tfjo_utHvaCyXzqYF_o86Mpd-K-2_Fz-QQadK_5bxK_9Uz7InfF9UOFLSGpLbq5QF/s1600/003web.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" pua="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEggFwnoBzE8KrE3An-yi5py0G1lNXeY2h_fwQ-WZy8MTN0HI8OCtXWVEzny_nKrVgT2wGmp1gf4QH1Tfjo_utHvaCyXzqYF_o86Mpd-K-2_Fz-QQadK_5bxK_9Uz7InfF9UOFLSGpLbq5QF/s640/003web.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
Thanks so much Jo, you really didn’t need to do that………. but I’m really pleased you did! <br />
She dropped a hint that the ATC might well have some Silk involved too, so I can’t wait to see what work of art is sitting in that little envelope.<br />
<br />
So it’s on to my table this week............thought I’d better make the effort after missing the last two weeks.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiWYHS7WgoFDDfS5jB0WRaaEJtIldCw0F8r3y7fry632Yb_vRuJb6gZOzxB2jzuEeXto-li24xxRsccMIEOpqnM-Tdn3Nyh0MQ7K3ZmXXBm_9tjhH7ElLLcqoF-77-oTjdl9sLSDW_mu-lr/s1600/002web.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" pua="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiWYHS7WgoFDDfS5jB0WRaaEJtIldCw0F8r3y7fry632Yb_vRuJb6gZOzxB2jzuEeXto-li24xxRsccMIEOpqnM-Tdn3Nyh0MQ7K3ZmXXBm_9tjhH7ElLLcqoF-77-oTjdl9sLSDW_mu-lr/s640/002web.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
It shows some of my wood backed rubber stamps that are heading for ebay. I had a massive sort out over the weekend and put loads of stuff on there but I’ve not even scratched the surface of my stash yet.<br />
<br />
If you’re after a bargain you can check out all my listings <strong><a href="http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/budrose7/m.html?item=171039017190&ssPageName=STRK%3AMESELX%3AIT&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2562">HERE</a></strong><br />
<br />
On the back corner of the table are a couple of cross stitch projects I’ve been working on this week. <br />
<br />
The first is a Disney themed square for SOLAK,<strong> ( <a href="http://groups.yahoo.com/group/SOLAKgroup/">Stitches Of Love And Kindness.</a>)</strong> It's one of seven I’ve stitched and it’s destined for a quilt for a little 4 year old boy called Rowan. <br />
This square is Jiminy Cricket and I’ve also stitched Woody from Toy Story, Sulley from Monsters Inc. Pinocchio, Pooh Bear ,Donald Duck and Tigger.<br />
<br />
The second project I can’t unveil just yet as it could well be going to someone who reads my blog, so you’ll just have to be patient and wait a week or two to see it.<br />
<br />
Well, that’s it for another week but just before I go I have one last picture to show you.<br />
<br />
<br />
At long last I’ve ventured into the scary world of the android phone, which for this technophobe is one dirty great big giant step I can tell you.<br />
<br />
Anyway, last week I invested in a Samsung Galaxy 111 mini and I’m just trying to get to grips with it so while out at the Garden centre I just had to snap this.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiLHvfWKKQa0sIWUyMN-Xh3FtdV9gJKTlJPTzC5x2hqJ6pkAb9CyZ-gzZJ44KN5WRfTQU1g2s5A0IJ1y6RIrObZfrxySlPBkHxjxzj8dlpbH0Cz9x45F8Lari8fSRNL_UIQkCkvf2A2Tj4K/s1600/20130509_114300.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" pua="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiLHvfWKKQa0sIWUyMN-Xh3FtdV9gJKTlJPTzC5x2hqJ6pkAb9CyZ-gzZJ44KN5WRfTQU1g2s5A0IJ1y6RIrObZfrxySlPBkHxjxzj8dlpbH0Cz9x45F8Lari8fSRNL_UIQkCkvf2A2Tj4K/s640/20130509_114300.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Pretty impressive, err!<br />
<br />
Right, I really am off to snoop on a few desks now and then pack up my own ATC’s to go in the post, so sees you later.

Seeing as I missed you all last week I thought I would stop by and say hello to all my lovely friends from WOYWW and to anyone else who might just happen to stumble across my blog. And what a beautiful morning for a get together……..it’s warm and the sun is shining……at last!<br />
<br />
<br />
So, you’re obviously here to see what’s on my desk today and I think the title of my blog post must have already given you an inkling that there’s not very much. <br />
<br />
I know we all lose our mojo at one point or another, but I’ve had no enthusiasm to paper craft for months now, so I’m beginning to think that my own mojo is on a gap year!<br />
<br />
Strangly, I was looking back over some of my blog posts a couple of days ago and I realized that it was about this time last year I was going through the same thing, so maybe there’s something underlying that’s stopping me, who knows. <br />
<br />
What I do know thought is that there are things that I really should be making an effort to finish, like the collection of cards I started making for Jan in return for the beautiful knitting needle case she very kindly made me….you will get them at some point, honest Jan and my nephew’s birthday card which I’m ashamed to say that I actually went out and brought.…….not done that for more than ten years, so I’m sitting here, hanging my head in shame.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Anyway, here’s the picture of my table.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiqARxjJDIRtQDHCIVdSpZGuI41iKW_UewJLchhpwAdolxvTz8A3I8tnt5s5GRztBAyJeU_3jImAts4KZjAt_Fx92uWOpUpAw_y9W4RjHwulrU4LaA7xiAYaihjeFotiHUCfP4ZSyxuZNvq/s1600/001.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" lua="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiqARxjJDIRtQDHCIVdSpZGuI41iKW_UewJLchhpwAdolxvTz8A3I8tnt5s5GRztBAyJeU_3jImAts4KZjAt_Fx92uWOpUpAw_y9W4RjHwulrU4LaA7xiAYaihjeFotiHUCfP4ZSyxuZNvq/s640/001.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
The beads from the week before last are still there although there are some finished results that you can see <strong><a href="http://sueskraftykards.blogspot.co.uk/2013/04/a-rhapsody-in-blueand-err-green.html"> HERE.</a></strong><br />
<br />
The few cards that I have managed to complete for Jan are still sitting there and there are also a few cross stitched squares for the Stitches of Love and Kindness charity, which are waiting to go in the post and that’s about it really.<br />
<br />
What I have managed to do over the last few week is work on some ATC’s for the swap. Mojo can cope with them because the design is sorted and I don’t need to think too hard about what I’m doing. <br />
They are proving to be a little time consuming though ( all will become clear when you see them) so can I ask, if you would like to swap with me on the anniversary, let me know now and then I can get enough made to go in the post straight away, otherwise you may have to wait a week or two for swap to arrive.<br />
<br />
So that’s it from me for another week.<br />
<br />

As mentioned on Wednesday I have been playing with my beads this week and wanted to make some extra bits to go with a set I brought in M & S………namely earrings for my holiday.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhqmwcYcBg3qKEwR92I8NBNdWVZnouXhWFGfAiEjY8vFV1QQjkzU-iH8kyMCLZaYkvuaKYnT6LyD-x0-45xJsHY30NQ3b-6Fa6NqUQkX7TRoKuvsnx3lnKMl3qnFJVTsGnWcqlv8RLAlZi8/s1600/001.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" dua="true" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhqmwcYcBg3qKEwR92I8NBNdWVZnouXhWFGfAiEjY8vFV1QQjkzU-iH8kyMCLZaYkvuaKYnT6LyD-x0-45xJsHY30NQ3b-6Fa6NqUQkX7TRoKuvsnx3lnKMl3qnFJVTsGnWcqlv8RLAlZi8/s400/001.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<br />
I really love these colours together but there was very little in the shop to go with it so I decided on buying an extra set, which was duly taken to pieces and with the help of a few beads and findings from my stash I managed to put together another necklace (actually not sure about that one) a bracelet and five pairs of earrings.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

That is the question!<br />
<br />
And the answer.................most definitely yes, as you can see on my table today.<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhO_ucCrhyphenhyphenG71E5VB8G8C2shRmcIlT3xTeLzEYydJlLh6Cpqn0LnVaYGdzmoxsw3k3TMRlLR2yGk5pSXto0QB84UU_Ry2LLXhBuJ8cLkmT4gbDWjQAEzDvDnif_imIWQfq83qY5135V5xAY/s1600/002.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" dua="true" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhO_ucCrhyphenhyphenG71E5VB8G8C2shRmcIlT3xTeLzEYydJlLh6Cpqn0LnVaYGdzmoxsw3k3TMRlLR2yGk5pSXto0QB84UU_Ry2LLXhBuJ8cLkmT4gbDWjQAEzDvDnif_imIWQfq83qY5135V5xAY/s640/002.jpg" width="640" /></a><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
If you’re wondering why on earth I’m showing you my table, it’s because it’s Wednesday and that that means it’s <strong><a href="http://stamping-ground.blogspot.com/">What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday.</a></strong><br />
Follow the link to Julia’s blog, you can join in too.<br />
<br />
Anyway, back to my desk and a complete change of direction for me this week.<br />
<br />
I’ve been looking out for some Blue and Green costume Jewellery for my holiday and while I was out shopping a week or so ago I came across the almost perfect set in M & S. A necklace and bracelet in just the right shades, but I say almost perfect because I was also looking for a couple of pairs of earrings to match and couldn’t find anything.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEicmyY2yQwQ2k37WFCaBWK4xc2ICpBBfMAVfPhL0qe_Ot6wvSlPwYN1CQNDVepZgUUwom_bt5qoeadj7UxmHy0FPd3P6HoBDATqVMeKT2PXGHhdqyuJt4PV3rFDaF6zU8ARvy2XK_bljNwn/s1600/004.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" dua="true" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEicmyY2yQwQ2k37WFCaBWK4xc2ICpBBfMAVfPhL0qe_Ot6wvSlPwYN1CQNDVepZgUUwom_bt5qoeadj7UxmHy0FPd3P6HoBDATqVMeKT2PXGHhdqyuJt4PV3rFDaF6zU8ARvy2XK_bljNwn/s640/004.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
In the end extravagance got the better of me and I ended up buying two sets of the Jewellery , only to pull one set apart to make the said earrings and possibly another bracelet or two. <br />
<br />
You’ll notice from the picture that I’ve also pulled out some Blue and Green beads from my stash, which I’ll try and incorporate into the bracelets.<br />
<br />
I’ve hit a problem though and am not making very much progress at the moment because on looking through my bead box I realised that I don’t have any small jump rings, so I may need to pop to Hobby craft or The Range before I can actually finish them off, but as you can see I’ve got two pairs of ‘dangles’ ready and waiting to be attached to the findings.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhLlbUNKaBoduTqLgcUTwsr_h9lVhWtnG3_r96LlXa4cd71IcameQo5SPGFvv0woLC9z_a6AyDIiRdUjmzwmAQu7m5keirGS-HIqLxvvGORiI4Ig_qpW6BD3QKKFJ3TxDpma4O1v4UsGBH6/s1600/005.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" dua="true" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhLlbUNKaBoduTqLgcUTwsr_h9lVhWtnG3_r96LlXa4cd71IcameQo5SPGFvv0woLC9z_a6AyDIiRdUjmzwmAQu7m5keirGS-HIqLxvvGORiI4Ig_qpW6BD3QKKFJ3TxDpma4O1v4UsGBH6/s640/005.jpg" width="480" /></a></div>
<br />
I did also managed a couple of cards this week.<br />
<br />
First, the 60th Birthday card I was about to start on last week for a friend.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh0vw6J7ZmMwbcsPeGPs9b5OUhzqU_uevw5LwlkZKTHukQqfhqwJd1BKeoJ36lq-2JqaaW4LWfjqd2Y0R47yb3imWJAf8lIJz2GwvZdAm8zhFFsWlU6zxkiyvUf4PeluTBXKVUnnjI0zRhj/s1600/Edd1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" dua="true" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh0vw6J7ZmMwbcsPeGPs9b5OUhzqU_uevw5LwlkZKTHukQqfhqwJd1BKeoJ36lq-2JqaaW4LWfjqd2Y0R47yb3imWJAf8lIJz2GwvZdAm8zhFFsWlU6zxkiyvUf4PeluTBXKVUnnjI0zRhj/s640/Edd1.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>

<br />
I think the birthday boy liked it and the celebration meal on Saturday evening went down well……..especially the cupcakes that his daughters gave him!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh0hAhFYA4dlgJ1sr1aTsYZleWT2KDvffAS2Evos2F0U7r0lQi3iKF92x6du4vytrXz1fWrlivJrobOYQTnlEaP9fCkiruhgT3QMDaG4WrkpVj0-_Y02zml_nYjjuLvmBlWzpGzAFWXi31X/s1600/SAM_1885.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" dua="true" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh0hAhFYA4dlgJ1sr1aTsYZleWT2KDvffAS2Evos2F0U7r0lQi3iKF92x6du4vytrXz1fWrlivJrobOYQTnlEaP9fCkiruhgT3QMDaG4WrkpVj0-_Y02zml_nYjjuLvmBlWzpGzAFWXi31X/s640/SAM_1885.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
The second card is very simple design that I've made loads of times and is very versatile. It's for my Goddaughters birthday tomorrow.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
Well what a week I’ve had……..No Crafting and that Llindt Chocolate Bunny is ‘still’ sitting on the side, intact and waiting to be munched upon. <br />
<br />
Can’t tell you how hard it’s been to stop myself biting off an ear, but I know it wouldn’t do my any good at the moment because the chest infection really took hold, so I’ve had to be good. Even the antibiotics that I’ve been on don’t seem to have shifted it much and I really don’t like this feeling of shortness of breath. Hopefully a change in the weather (they promise 70 degrees in the next couple of days) will have me feeling better and more in the mood for crafting.<br />
<br />
What I have done though is spent lots of time on my stitching and you can see my progress over at <strong><a href="http://idratherbestitchin.blogspot.com/"> I’d Rather Be Stitchin’.</a> </strong><br />
<br />
In fact it’s that you can see at the back of my desk today because I was taking a photo of it for my monthly TUSAL (don’t know what a TUSAL is…..all will be explained if you follow the link above)<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzIijaAtJh6gFun7mzkT72bFFV0oxDa9J5M_KHUuGGBP4Nf3YiDOVnATupePjlrL6LUonc2H54uMFhf4oBYR4QEdS77pHdcNTkPlkAx_ML4StRL6uo_HiUxZneDKV5QfFEpQq95gmxQa0o/s1600/005.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" bua="true" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzIijaAtJh6gFun7mzkT72bFFV0oxDa9J5M_KHUuGGBP4Nf3YiDOVnATupePjlrL6LUonc2H54uMFhf4oBYR4QEdS77pHdcNTkPlkAx_ML4StRL6uo_HiUxZneDKV5QfFEpQq95gmxQa0o/s640/005.jpg" width="640" /></a><br />
Apart from that my desk is almost clear except for my scales and some bubble wrap I was using to pack up some of the things I sold on ebay last week. Thanks if you were amongst the people who followed my link last week and bid on anything. If you did I hope you were one of the lucky ones because there were some great bargains to be had. I have to say I was very pleased indeed as I listed around 70 items and sold all but 10 of them.<br />
<br />
OK, I really need to get down and make a 60th birthday card now which needs to be in the post tomorrow, so please forgive me if I don’t get around to desk hopping until tomorrow, but needs must as they say.<br />
<br />
To join in with WOYWW and to find out what it’s all about if you’ve never heard about it, can I suggest that you go visit <a href="http://stamping-ground.blogspot.com/"> The Stamping Ground.</a> where Julia has all the details and keeps us all in check each week.<br />
<br />
See’s you all later.<br />

Good morning to all my fellow What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday’ers,.<br />
<br />
I hope you are all fighting fit and ready for our weekly desk hop after a nice long weekend of eating chocolate eggs.<br />
<br />
I was unable to eat my Llindt Bunny because I came down with the lurgy on Saturday evening, sore throat, cough and later a runny nose and now I have a chest infection so chocolate really wouldn’t be the right thing to be eating at the moment.<br />
<br />
<br />
I did manage to get a few things done over the weekend thought and had a lovely card making session yesterday, which I really enjoyed. It’s great that the fun’s back now the pressure is off.<br />
<br />
So, this my desk as it is now, just the way I left it last night.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjD9aYl7fPcLTz78a0mH4_-7BBfXSUHNg3EaTOcmBJrdoGH6ekBYakr8bj7iw5lNOPPeWSST8adsnV4cxs2IGstPJgQJtEjLJLVyxXzuNM5VIHa6tZEGNy4i_7FGRgJtZf3Oqh3Sllmznbs/s1600/003web.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" mta="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjD9aYl7fPcLTz78a0mH4_-7BBfXSUHNg3EaTOcmBJrdoGH6ekBYakr8bj7iw5lNOPPeWSST8adsnV4cxs2IGstPJgQJtEjLJLVyxXzuNM5VIHa6tZEGNy4i_7FGRgJtZf3Oqh3Sllmznbs/s640/003web.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
You can see a little pile of cards at the back, all made from my G.C.D Studios ‘Ella Blue pad. I just love these papers, nice quality, double sided linen textured and a beautiful combination of Blue’s Brown’s and a tiny bit of Green…….really yummy if you ask me.<br />
<br />
There’s also the usual paraphernalia including Embossing folders, stamps, distress inks………shall I go on…..I’m sure you get the drift.<br />
<br />
<br />
Also this weekend I’ve carried on with my big crafty sort out and managed to get most of my dies onto ebay. If anyone’s interested there’s still a few bargains to be had if you fancy a look. I I still have a load more stuff to go on later.<br />
<br />
<a href="http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/budrose7/m.html?item=171015862578&ssPageName=STRK%3AMESELX%3AIT&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2562"><strong>http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/budrose7/m.html?item=171015862578&ssPageName=STRK%3AMESELX%3AIT&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2562</strong></a><br />
<br />
<br />
I’m keeping it short and sweet this week as I’m just about to go out the door but I’ll be back later and will be dropping by to see that you’ve been up to,………so stand by your desks! Not literally, Lol.<br />
<br />
And if by any chance there’s anyone out there who hasn’t a clue what WOYWW is all about, may I suggest it’s about time you did. Hop across to Julia’s pad at <strong><a href="http://stamping-ground.blogspot.com/"> The Stamping Ground.</a> </strong> and you can join in with the other 179 crafters who played along last week. Amazing isn’t it….all those people with nothing better to do than desk hop! See you all later.<br />
<br />
Happy Crafting!<br />

Each week it amazes me that our weekly blog hop is growing bigger and bigger, with 170 wonderful crafters joining in with What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday, hosted by the lovely Julia over at <strong><a href="http://stamping-ground.blogspot.com/"> The Stamping Ground.</a> </strong>Just goes to show what a fun and sociable group of people us crafters are!<br />
<br />
I’m hoping that this week on my desk visits I don’t come across too many friends that are having difficulties because of all the snow. The pictures on the TV are almost unbelievable and I don’t think I can ever remember a snowfall like that before. <br />
<br />
My desk this week has nothing much at all on it other than a load of old Quickutz dies that I’m sorting out to put on ebay. <br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgI4afNZuM1SYl6cbffsbFn_0Sqo6Wno-1X7mb4j7ni7Yn6RmRkRQOV_1aoSu1VF1z6WI7zpSowEOkG1gJqGga8ckfqsuqO6WVjj6vdg1n8f_j4bPAewwJXx-FtJkvdv6GRKn1LQqzkFcqA/s1600/001.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgI4afNZuM1SYl6cbffsbFn_0Sqo6Wno-1X7mb4j7ni7Yn6RmRkRQOV_1aoSu1VF1z6WI7zpSowEOkG1gJqGga8ckfqsuqO6WVjj6vdg1n8f_j4bPAewwJXx-FtJkvdv6GRKn1LQqzkFcqA/s640/001.jpg" usa="true" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I’ve not used them for ages and all they do is collect dust in the cupboard, so I figured I’d try and sell some and use the money to buy some things I’m more likely to use, so if you’re into die cutting keep a look out over the weekend because there may be a few of the discontinued sort after ones in amongst them. <br />
<br />
There’s not much else on the table to talk about really, just a mug of coffee and something to keep my neck warm………….it’s freezing sitting by this window sometimes.<br />
<br />
So that’s it for another week.<br />
<br />
I hope everyone has a wonderful Easter ………not too much chocolate now.<br />
<br />
Happy Crafting!<br />

<br />
Good morning my lovely blogging friends.<br />
<br />
It’s that day again and Julia is ready and waiting over at the <strong><a href="http://stamping-ground.blogspot.com/">The Stamping Ground</a> </strong>for you to add your name to Mr Linky ( if you haven’t already) and then be prepared for the influx of crafters, all eager to snoop on your work space.<br />
<br />
For some reason I’m only managing to join in every couple of weeks at the moment. No idea really why that is but hopefully it will change soon and I’ll be here ‘full time’. I don’t know about you but I get withdrawal symptoms when I miss a week.<br />
<br />
So what’s been happening is Sue’s Krafty Kards work room this week…………….well a combination of knitting, stitching and a little bit of paper crafting and here’s what was on my desk when I let it last night.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhjwMwfT_e96IfgQbM-4drQFGxWD3GxPe5AMcIHrLr99RHv4MiW9o8vDWPddja6XIJbWl4j4zSYbWmWf9vjdtHRkeb3JFJvF_JyHqigCIFIl7FxvuuK-5OLSXKvSuHqGifXtHaKAKfFegMc/s1600/001web.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" psa="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhjwMwfT_e96IfgQbM-4drQFGxWD3GxPe5AMcIHrLr99RHv4MiW9o8vDWPddja6XIJbWl4j4zSYbWmWf9vjdtHRkeb3JFJvF_JyHqigCIFIl7FxvuuK-5OLSXKvSuHqGifXtHaKAKfFegMc/s640/001web.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
I thought I had better make a start on the ATC’s for the WOYWW birthday swap……talk about out of my comfort zone. I’ve only every made them once before and that was for last year’s swap, so I was in panic mode when I started because of the small area I was working on.<br />
<br />
You can see from the picture that I had various shades of Pink and Mauve Distress Inks out as well as some stamps and dies but don’t think for a minute that you can guess what I’m doing because within an hour of taking that photo I over did things a little and it was beyond salvaging so it all ended up in the bin. <br />
I then started from scratch with something completely different and I think I’m happy with the results but you’ll have to wait until the swap to see them.<br />
<br />
I mentioned that I’ve been knitting again and have made two more little cardigans for my Goddaughter’s bump. Her mum told me that she’s not shy of bold colours, which I’m not sure about for a new baby and colour choice isn’t made easier when we don’t know what she’s expecting, so I decided on this lovely shade of Green.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiqrkgUn8L5IN_aXJ_6jpSjJvz2zTUe3aK4lE3swFvQt5Hpxw5LkcKxlE5i_2yAOEKudeIj7IUX8ECQENoDALi75yXa9jFhrwGCbOevhflwgGkvjOpyn8F_wObQ962bQCMmkS4OIItE5fne/s1600/003.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" psa="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiqrkgUn8L5IN_aXJ_6jpSjJvz2zTUe3aK4lE3swFvQt5Hpxw5LkcKxlE5i_2yAOEKudeIj7IUX8ECQENoDALi75yXa9jFhrwGCbOevhflwgGkvjOpyn8F_wObQ962bQCMmkS4OIItE5fne/s640/003.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
All it needs are some buttons and it’s done.<br />
<br />
The second one I made with the left overs from the Green and the Cream one I made a couple of weeks ago and that’s just waiting on buttons too. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgNb3tADyoJDMaPSzADqSVcLz5f_vij5TNwkFyTbjC6OBioJw7kNanCLFSXgry1DunXkW1hyphenhyphenReFbQ-wkRgAa6l1pK29AjOI5P1paDF70wrsHBsqT9sx8gKVUkWkcqdJvlStQdEE6nj-0USe/s1600/004.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" psa="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgNb3tADyoJDMaPSzADqSVcLz5f_vij5TNwkFyTbjC6OBioJw7kNanCLFSXgry1DunXkW1hyphenhyphenReFbQ-wkRgAa6l1pK29AjOI5P1paDF70wrsHBsqT9sx8gKVUkWkcqdJvlStQdEE6nj-0USe/s640/004.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
And so to the cross stitch and yes, I’ve finally made a start on Celtic Autumn, yah!<br />
<br />
Luckily there’s no time frame, because I’m a slow stitcher and you’ll see what I mean when I tell you that this is the progress after 13 hours and 50 minutes. <br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgcBLnQumjV2u5XjQJFEJt76tTtsyflG2-sFdXs4E2XZGZ42Un4cWaZnxquBGBjTAxrxvmMuUxmEETO3lDFjDw1Lay8UsMWP2qV4T1VQw6I3CDr9icMWAhiSgeJxKzn7GctaLpB0vad9hl0/s1600/002.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" psa="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgcBLnQumjV2u5XjQJFEJt76tTtsyflG2-sFdXs4E2XZGZ42Un4cWaZnxquBGBjTAxrxvmMuUxmEETO3lDFjDw1Lay8UsMWP2qV4T1VQw6I3CDr9icMWAhiSgeJxKzn7GctaLpB0vad9hl0/s640/002.jpg" width="640" /></a>(Opps.....looks like I need to get the iron out!)</div>
<br />
I don’t normally keep account of how long a project takes me to stitch but someone on another blog I follow stitched her recently and it took a total of 83 hours, that was 72 hours stitching and 11 hours beading so I thought I’d see how long she takes me.<br />
<br />
So that’s it for another week.<br />
<br />
I’ll be calling by later to see what you’re all up too, so get that mug of coffee ready for me.<br />
<br />
Happy Crafting!<br />

Oh crikey, it was only when saw that Annie had left me a comment this morning that I realized it was Wednesday. and time to show you all what’s on my desk. <br />
<br />
Well, I thought it was Tuesday today, so I’m not ready and I think it might have something to do with the beautiful T-shirt weather we had yesterday. I made the most of it by jet washing one of the patio’s and now seem to have lost a day.<br />
<br />
Still, there’s no getting away from it, it is Wednesday and time to share what’s on my table with Julia over at <strong><a href="http://stamping-ground.blogspot.com/">The Stamping Ground</a></strong> and the rest of the What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday mob.<br />
<br />
To be honest, I’ve not been in my craft room much since last week and my table has become a bit of a dumping ground again.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjeoGp8TvkQvouTyMSg_o-H2lTxLM6b6_6D0isRz4G8keVOpS0vQIBTASFVJ8jQApZGj9G0QlUUxUIZ97i_cwtdDxKFI1v-MI5kkVo2NRLb_wdLwZq9ARpAGjrhTNArFVZvPkD0ByNK25r-/s1600/001web.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" jsa="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjeoGp8TvkQvouTyMSg_o-H2lTxLM6b6_6D0isRz4G8keVOpS0vQIBTASFVJ8jQApZGj9G0QlUUxUIZ97i_cwtdDxKFI1v-MI5kkVo2NRLb_wdLwZq9ARpAGjrhTNArFVZvPkD0ByNK25r-/s640/001web.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
The LO that I was about to start last week is still on the table unfinished…….almost there but not quite. <br />
<br />
The ‘Blue’ ribbon box is out because I was looking for some matching ribbon but to no avail. You’d think with a box that sized there be something in there that would match, wouldn’t you, but no such luck so I lost interest and just left it laying there.<br />
<br />
Sitting on top of that on my table is the little cardigan I’ve knitting for my god daughter’s new edition when it arrives, which is just waiting for some buttons. I’ve gone for 3 -6 months size ready for the winter months and I’m doing a little cabled hat and booties to match.<br />
<br />
That’s about it really, but before I go I have one last thing to share.<br />
<br />
Jo has made some lovely ‘Star Stitcher’ awards for the girls who have been making the quilts for the<strong> <a href="http://lillyboquilts.blogspot.co.uk/">LillyBo Quilt Project </a></strong>using the cards I’ve been making and bless her, she’s made a special one for me because I don’t sew, how sweet was that.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjeYnGZm8JhodwhRFp0dg4Sfq8m83mkoFJZymR4HJDVJYJSbf-PjI_1kDJ9hIEkMaTstdlelgEQbF3pDw0872uRlUuwqgerDqZxHGPlCor1JPw_u3sWA_Y98mLFB9HpLt1uQV4s1i5HvxVe/s1600/SS_yellow.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="198" jsa="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjeYnGZm8JhodwhRFp0dg4Sfq8m83mkoFJZymR4HJDVJYJSbf-PjI_1kDJ9hIEkMaTstdlelgEQbF3pDw0872uRlUuwqgerDqZxHGPlCor1JPw_u3sWA_Y98mLFB9HpLt1uQV4s1i5HvxVe/s200/SS_yellow.jpg" width="200" /></a></div>
<br />
If you click on the one on my side bar it will take you straight to the LillyBo Blog, where you can see all the quilts, bags and toys that have been sent already, so do pop across and have a little look because they are all beautiful.<br />
<br />
Thanks for stopping by this week and I’ll see you later when I pop in for coffee, Lol.<br />
<br />

It’s yet another cold, dull and dreary Wednesday morning but the bright ray of sunshine comes from the fact it’s the day I visit my <strong> <a href="http://stamping-ground.blogspot.com/">What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday</a> </strong> friends. <br />
The mess……sorry, I mean creativeness on their desks always brings a smile and brightens my day , I can tell you!<br />
<br />
My week has mostly consisted of a little paper crafting and a lot of cross stitching and here’s what’s on my desk this morning.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj7yqJzJiAFkHoaTJQnYDjx24obw5YCTFhe5IzGpm6m0MYUs-zBqUi60ULQF9O-8zbxxaphI93hemBhH_i636b7ofXF87i-Wetw9eTool8CDOFDknya8z2cIqK0OcRbugPg0odiaoiOXgWl/s1600/001web.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" gsa="true" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj7yqJzJiAFkHoaTJQnYDjx24obw5YCTFhe5IzGpm6m0MYUs-zBqUi60ULQF9O-8zbxxaphI93hemBhH_i636b7ofXF87i-Wetw9eTool8CDOFDknya8z2cIqK0OcRbugPg0odiaoiOXgWl/s640/001web.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I finally managed to sorted out some papers to scrap the photo of my big brother and ended up buying a First Edition ‘Up, Up & Away pad, not particularly vintage looking I know, but I just loved the colour combination and decided to go with it. I’m not sure what I’m going to do yet on the LO but so far done some fussy cutting of the circle in the corner and have decoupaged it. I just need to sort out some embellishments and hopefully I’ll be up and running.<br />
<br />
The only other paper crafting this week has been a few more cards for the <strong><a href="http://lillyboquilts.blogspot.co.uk/"> LillyBo Quilt Project</a> </strong> and they will be going in the post this morning.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEilUxKoLud7wjKd3Er1EpJWq1mx2uXnQJe8kBDbK2zxI7490XTEjrPtTvsHk-LKXvNF8DX3SnSi4PvKpKM4oLcOpnkrNU820sGkeD9H3c-kp9Qd8s9L-pAH1Q8qVZT74QVAf-nzP6L1k3zw/s1600/004web.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" gsa="true" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEilUxKoLud7wjKd3Er1EpJWq1mx2uXnQJe8kBDbK2zxI7490XTEjrPtTvsHk-LKXvNF8DX3SnSi4PvKpKM4oLcOpnkrNU820sGkeD9H3c-kp9Qd8s9L-pAH1Q8qVZT74QVAf-nzP6L1k3zw/s640/004web.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I also think these are perfect to enter into Di’s <strong><a href="http://pixiescraftyworkshop.blogspot.co.uk/2013/02/pixies-crafty-snippets-playground-week_24.html"> 'Pixies Crafty Snippets' challenge</a></strong> as I’ve used up loads of offcuts for them as well as odd pieces of ribbon. <br />
<br />
Stitching wise, I made a concerted effort to finish off the ‘Time and Season’ s sampler and I’m happy to report that the last stitch went in on Saturday evening. You can see the finished piece over at <strong><a href="http://idratherbestitchin.blogspot.com/">I’d Rather Be Stitchin’.</a></strong><br />
<br />
<br />
I had a load of threads left over from the sampler and decided to use them for another sampler, a much smaller one this time, and started on in straight away………it’s funny how I can’t be without a bit of cross stitch on the go……….and this is where I got to last night.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEixM8ERCmRSoshnHVieqD3SImZ7nxFNkgDZkj8Mg5QfR6OsWbfcjScd4bgW_pMGQ2mCM58vYUSbCZGYKoeWc0S9J3gZhueMlMQ7w4L88mRiuzZFhgaoEj8SYahpdw3XGUhcFX2VdFv31G5Q/s1600/002web.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" gsa="true" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEixM8ERCmRSoshnHVieqD3SImZ7nxFNkgDZkj8Mg5QfR6OsWbfcjScd4bgW_pMGQ2mCM58vYUSbCZGYKoeWc0S9J3gZhueMlMQ7w4L88mRiuzZFhgaoEj8SYahpdw3XGUhcFX2VdFv31G5Q/s640/002web.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Just the word April to add and then that one’s done too and I’ll be ready to start my next Celtic Lady.<br />
<br />
If you stop by my stitching blog please take the time to leave a message, I love to read your comments and I’ll be by to call in on you soon.<br />
<br />
<br />
Have a great day and ………..<br />
<br />
Happy Crafting!<br />

Is it really Wednesday again? <br />
<br />
Are you absolute sure? <br />
<br />
If you’re positive, then I guess I have to show you a picture of my table for <a href="http://stamping-ground.blogspot.com/"> What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday.</a> <br />
<br />
Julia’s blog has all the details you need to join in, so hop across and add your name to Mr. Linky and then wait for all the nosey parkers……I mean likeminded crafters to call in for coffee.<br />
<br />
I've had a busy week working on some <a href="http://idratherbestitchin.blogspot.com/"> Cross Stitch</a> and finishing of the shawl I was knitting but if you remember, when you visited me last week I was just about to make a start on a LO for my heritage album. <br />
Well, I finished that and also did a little alteration on an old LO of some of my school photos, so if you want a laugh.......school photos are always good for a laugh........you can see both LO's over on my <a href="http://familyfootprintsinthesandsoftime.blogspot.co.uk/"> Heritage Blog.</a><br />
<br />
Here’s my table this morning.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZnnBYVmBZSuZj9sKzruCJUmLcKbb2pfYtI1I0XGKupNhGr7eNTEGo5hgrsfuXnWhOZK4mWRw0BHpWSkYe30zfK0m_fyPuX4m71ZpDRzzxpQsWEhaA8o-vaJXy2kT-tNIu1yENp2URuO-Y/s1600/003web.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZnnBYVmBZSuZj9sKzruCJUmLcKbb2pfYtI1I0XGKupNhGr7eNTEGo5hgrsfuXnWhOZK4mWRw0BHpWSkYe30zfK0m_fyPuX4m71ZpDRzzxpQsWEhaA8o-vaJXy2kT-tNIu1yENp2URuO-Y/s640/003web.jpg" uea="true" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
After seeing the speed at which the quilts are rolling in for <a href="http://jozartdesigns.blogspot.co.uk/"> Jo’s</a> LillyBo quilt project, which by the way are all beautiful, I thought I’d better make some more cards because she's going to be running low very soon, so that’s what I’ve been making this morning. <br />
<br />
There’s eight sitting at the back of the table waiting to be finished off and Jo said she really liked the hexagon ones, so I’m hoping to do some more of them a little later in the week. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgCvSyyqsgsSNMpXK2-36rprgyZaGTfVMI_cnkldkEzU9xo3FRmfRcxbQ-OfH_gLImO404mQdAUplw-rXlptor4NmigduMXUILt5hMy_IvzHprneZTzpfmAW3cq_Ii1rno_cM0RCH3A6jmd/s1600/004web.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgCvSyyqsgsSNMpXK2-36rprgyZaGTfVMI_cnkldkEzU9xo3FRmfRcxbQ-OfH_gLImO404mQdAUplw-rXlptor4NmigduMXUILt5hMy_IvzHprneZTzpfmAW3cq_Ii1rno_cM0RCH3A6jmd/s640/004web.jpg" uea="true" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
The problem with those though is that I had to hand cut all the pieces, so they took me ages to make. I’ve ordered a die now, so I’m just waiting for it to arrive and it should make it all a lot quicker and easier.<br />
As soon as they are done I’ll send them off to join this little lot that were sent a week or so ago. <br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhoGnwQRiUqQFgj3L75DPPnoB9ILADiCb9uIp6spCTY1ogoCwlFBIAWTAL_lLZEoICOWjt04SVr_burquC10pG45IkmSNvGGWszu21hrCTfu-3F3_pTd21Y9pJzYbGZKjybwtBH7pem_i0I/s1600/002web.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhoGnwQRiUqQFgj3L75DPPnoB9ILADiCb9uIp6spCTY1ogoCwlFBIAWTAL_lLZEoICOWjt04SVr_burquC10pG45IkmSNvGGWszu21hrCTfu-3F3_pTd21Y9pJzYbGZKjybwtBH7pem_i0I/s640/002web.jpg" uea="true" width="640" /></a><br />
<br />
You can see then in more detail on the <a href="http://lillyboquilts.blogspot.co.uk/"> LillyBo Blog</a> <br />
<br />
You’ll have noticed there’s no little helper on my table this morning…….that’s because he’s here………all curled up in my sewing basket on the sofa. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwPpz3rE0WwkJtfqesdyupsE-7NB9xhKNHrO2lJ63iPwdj03ls6_-Msm_a78880JF86rc_0NboR26qKWMGMuDfr3OpbvUAT0f3m5vHBV1lkZBXtnI4S5YAutMVfVkZ3O4xk4D6BobW6AcN/s1600/001web.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwPpz3rE0WwkJtfqesdyupsE-7NB9xhKNHrO2lJ63iPwdj03ls6_-Msm_a78880JF86rc_0NboR26qKWMGMuDfr3OpbvUAT0f3m5vHBV1lkZBXtnI4S5YAutMVfVkZ3O4xk4D6BobW6AcN/s640/001web.jpg" uea="true" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I think he’s decided that it’s too cold outside, so as I’m not sitting stitching, he's had his breakfast and moved in on my basket.<br />
<br />
Well that’s from me for now.<br />
I’m taking my neighbor to hospital this afternoon for the first check up after having a cataract removed, so I’ll see you all later.<br />
<br />
Happy Crafting!<br />

This is a page I made a while back.<br />
<br />
It's been out for a spot of retouching because the double sided tape I used to stick the journaling down had started to show through the paper and needed to be replaced, but while it is out I thought I would show you these mugshots of me taken during my school years.<br />
<br />
I’m not keen on having my photo taken even now and I guess it goes back a long, long way because I can clearly remember really crying on one occasion when the photographer came to visit my Infants school. It took the teachers ages to get me to stop and in a state that looked photogenic. I might add that the said photo isn’t amongst the ones I’ve scrapped here.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjgFsibK1sZQmeAuW9Id2Rat2iDCGGISry9yy6-omeZexqI3ZGJt2lko4ogg4xHKcuUVEST5_71RLCGYjdGKVhSj3asCOQQsMoew5TDzzXdvJgMeiZcJ9Arp3YY5qgn8d-qEaMTQl9XKJD_/s1600/001web.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" jea="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjgFsibK1sZQmeAuW9Id2Rat2iDCGGISry9yy6-omeZexqI3ZGJt2lko4ogg4xHKcuUVEST5_71RLCGYjdGKVhSj3asCOQQsMoew5TDzzXdvJgMeiZcJ9Arp3YY5qgn8d-qEaMTQl9XKJD_/s640/001web.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
I’ve attempted to make the page look a little like a Black Board and the colours represent the colours of my school uniforms.<br />
<br />
You might also notice that I’ve given myself 10 out of 10 and a Gold Star, Lol!<br />

As you can see, I’ve completed the LO for my heritage album that I was about to start on Wednesday, it’s just about finished, although I’m considering adding a little charm or something just under where I’ve put my date of birth. Not that I have one yet, so I’m off to see what I can find.<br />

<br />
Just when you think the weather has changed for the better and Spring is just around the corner, it changes again and it seems we are back in the grips of Winter. We’ve been lucky again though down in the South East, as we’ve managed to miss the worst of the snow but it’s turned really cold again and I don’t like it………..I need some warmth and sunshine! Winge over and on with my day I guess.<br />
<br />
My aim for today is to start a new page for my Heritage Album and I only plan to step outside the door at around midday when I go swimming. I did 32 lengths last week, that’s half a mile, and I hope to do the same today.<br />
<br />
But back to my LO and the picture of my desk for <a href="http://stamping-ground.blogspot.com/"> What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday</a> over at Julia’s blog ‘The Stamping Ground’ shows all the bits and pieces that I’ve pulled out ready to start my planning.<br />

<br />
You can see two photos in the picture. <br />
<br />
The one at the back is my brother Michael who now 63. Obviously that’s not the one I’m going to attempt to scrap today …….can’t see him in Pink somehow, Lol, but he will be the next to be done when I find some suitable papers.<br />
<br />
This is the one I’m going to do and it’s me playing Peek-a-boo. I think I was about four or five months old there but I’m sure.<br />
<br />

<br />
While we’re on the subject of baby’s I think it’s safe to say now that the shawl I was knitting is for my Goddaughter Nichola and her husband Paul, who are expecting their first in July.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjdrcFZu8CiMABG5WN-4dBdg8TZi3m9YCog_aDTv_Ith9caIKoT3E3G1XLSKANk331c5i3-EiNQs27tny8OfrrXbimhh3r2f43StRcbcSPIPCLCRu_WTpAI-R_mr8Gdm6hr2La2iFjCOyGx/s1600/004web.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" jea="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjdrcFZu8CiMABG5WN-4dBdg8TZi3m9YCog_aDTv_Ith9caIKoT3E3G1XLSKANk331c5i3-EiNQs27tny8OfrrXbimhh3r2f43StRcbcSPIPCLCRu_WTpAI-R_mr8Gdm6hr2La2iFjCOyGx/s640/004web.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
The knitting is coming along fine and I flew through the centre panels but the edging is taking a life time. Admittedly I had a little break from it and went back to my cross stitch for about a week but so far I’ve just knitted enough to go around two sides and little bit more and it takes 32 patterns per side, so there’s still lots to do.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
OK, that’s it from me for another week. I’ll be popping along this afternoon when I get back from swimming to see what everyone is up to this week, so get the Hot Chocolate on for me because the pool was a little chilly last week!<br />
<br />
Happy Crafting!<br />
