WOYWW 214- MacArthur's Park is melting in the dark, All the sweet, green icing flowing down

A very good morning to all my lovely ‘crafty’ friends out there.
Doesn’t it make you feel good when the sun is shining!

My table is quite busy looking this morning because I’m still making some  Lilly Bo Quilt Cards  which I hope to have finished and in the post to Jo after the weekend.

I thought I would change the design a little on this batch because I was running low of the large buttons I was using on the previous ones, so  I’ve used a rosette instead.
Also on my desk is the almost finished baby sampler I was stitching for my Goddaughters first baby, a new cross stitch magazine and a pile of new threads for my next project.

I can’t do any more to  the sampler until she’s had the baby and then I can add the name, date and weight but if you want a closer look pop across to  I'd Rather Be Stitchin', where I've updated my last two months stitching.

Nichola’s baby shower went well by the way and boy was it hot.

Some of you were asking to see the cakes when they were finished but silly me clean forgot to take my camera to the shower to take pictures of the table all laid up.

We had set it up in the conservatory and it brought to mind the lyrics to the Richard Harris song MacArthur Park…….… MacArthur's Park is melting in the dark, All the sweet, green icing flowing down………mine was Lemon Butter Cream and it was melting and running down the sides of the cupcakes but this is what they looked like before they melted in the heat.

Right then, your next stop (if you’ve not already come from there) should be The Stamping Ground from where Julia hosts the biggest weekly blog hop I've come across...........Thanks Julia.

Happy Crafting!
Sue

those new cards look wonderful for LilyBo...thank you for making them for us.
I could just sit and eat one (or two) of each cake so I suppose I had better get something sensible for breakfast

Hi Sue - my very first stop by your workdesk for WOYWW - I thought I'd change things up instead of always visiting the top 30 and visit those that end with the same number as me.... I must say I like your stamp pad storage - and those freshly baked goodies look very yummy... Happy WOYWW - Mxx #89

Oh, Sue, you are a star...super new batch of cards there but what a shame you can't pop in a couple of those fabulous cakes.
